Privacy Notice
This notice explains how Anvil (“Anvil,” “we,” “us”) handles personal information when you visit anvil33.ai or contact us through the website. Anvil is the controller of the information described in this notice. For privacy questions or requests, contact info@anvil33.ai.
Information we process
If you choose to contact us, we may receive your name, work email address, company, role, the contents of your inquiry, and subsequent correspondence. We may also receive limited technical information needed to deliver and secure the website, such as IP address, browser type, device information, request time, and security logs, through our hosting and infrastructure providers.
The contact form currently uses a mailto: link. The website does not send or store the form contents itself. Selecting “Send inquiry” opens your email application, and information is transmitted only if you choose to send the email. Your email provider may process that message under its own privacy terms.
Why we use information
- To respond to inquiries and evaluate potential business relationships or pilots.
- To operate, secure, troubleshoot, and improve the website.
- To protect our rights, prevent misuse, and comply with legal obligations.
Depending on the applicable law, we rely on your request or consent, our legitimate interests in operating and developing our business, steps taken before entering a contract, and compliance with legal obligations. Providing contact information is voluntary, but we cannot respond without the required details.
Sharing and international processing
We may disclose information to service providers that support website hosting, security, and email; to professional advisers; or to authorities when required by law. We do not sell personal information or share it for cross-context behavioural advertising. Service providers may process information in countries other than the country where you live. Where required, transfers are handled using an applicable lawful transfer mechanism.
Retention and security
We keep personal information only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes above, including responding to an inquiry, maintaining appropriate business records, resolving disputes, and meeting legal requirements. We then delete or anonymise it when it is no longer needed. We use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards, but no online service or email transmission can be guaranteed completely secure.
Cookies and similar technologies
Anvil does not currently use non-essential analytics or advertising cookies on this website. Hosting and security providers may use strictly necessary technologies or logs to deliver and protect the service. If we introduce non-essential cookies or tracking, we will update this notice and request consent where required.
Your choices and rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to request access, correction, deletion, restriction, portability, or objection; to withdraw consent; and to complain to your local data protection authority. California residents may also have rights to know, correct, or delete personal information and to receive equal service when exercising their rights. Because we do not sell or share personal information for behavioural advertising, we do not currently provide a sale or sharing opt-out link.
To exercise a right, email info@anvil33.ai with “Privacy Request” in the subject. We may request information reasonably necessary to verify your identity and authority. You may use an authorised agent where applicable.
California disclosures
In the preceding 12 months, depending on how people interacted with us, the categories collected may have included identifiers and professional information provided directly by the person; correspondence and inquiry content provided directly by the person; and internet or network activity collected by hosting and security providers. We use those categories for the business purposes described above. They may be disclosed for business purposes to hosting, security, email, and professional-service providers. We have not sold these categories or shared them for cross-context behavioural advertising, and we do not knowingly sell or share personal information of people under 16.
Children
This business-to-business website is not directed to children, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children through it.
Changes to this notice
We may update this notice as the website or our practices change. The updated date above indicates the latest revision. Material changes will be presented through an appropriate notice.
